You get picked up and transport to Mediterraneo Hotel B&B for overnight.

Spend the day by the pool etc. Overnight at Mediterraneo Hotel Bb.

We pick you up around 7:00 at the hotel. A good surfaced road connects to Mikumi via Morogoro, a roughly 6-hour drive where it is possible to see wild life along the road.
We arrive Mikumi and Angalia Tented Camp around lunchtime. After lunch we go for afternoon game drive inside Mikumi National park. Dinner and overnight will be at Angalia Tented Camp.

There is abundant wildlife, hippo pool with crocodiles and a horde of birds. Elephants wandering around, slowly, small as big, giraffe in their leisurely walks, wild beast who bath in the mud and much more.
We interrupt in the middle of the day and take lunch. After lunch we continue into the park until sunset. Dinner and overnight at Angalia Tented Camp

After breakfast we check out and drive to Ruaha with packed lunch. We arrive Ruaha in the afternoon and you go for a short game drive.
Tanzania’s largest national park; it now covers more than 20,000km². Despite the size of the park there are still only a handful of camps found here, which has built Ruaha’s reputation as Tanzania’s best kept game viewing secret. Ruaha’s wild and untrammelled feel is what sets it apart from other reserves, making it a popular choice for regular east African safarigoers.
Dinner and overnight at Ikuka Safari Camp.

After breakfast we go for full day game drive inside Ruaha National Park.
In Ruaha, lions are not only numerous and very habituated to vehicles, but the prides tend to be unusually large, often numbering more than 20 individuals. Cheetah can often be seen hunting on the open plains; and the park has a particularly good reputation for leopard sightings. It is one of the last major strongholds for African wild dog populations with more than 100 found here. Black-backed jackal and spotted hyena are both very common and easily seen, and the rarer striped hyena, though seldom observed, also lives here..Dinner and overnight at Ikuka Safari Camp.

Part of an ancient group of mountain ranges which stretch across Tanzania and Kenya, known as ‘The Eastern Arc’, the Udzungwa are the most extensive mountain range in Tanzania. They were formed at least 100 million years ago and many endemic species have evolved here, making them something of ‘an African Galapagos’. Local taboos have helped to preserve the wildlife, and now this national park protects almost 20% of the Udzungwa Mountains.
Setting off in walking shoes, with water and snacks, you’ll explore the park’s walking trails with a national parks’ guide. These trails vary in length from a few hours to three days, and do have steep sections, but are always taken at your own pace. Expect to pass streams and waterfalls amidst the thick forest vegetation. We recommend Udzungwa as an excellent day-trip – or perhaps a short stay.

DAY 10

After breakfast you pack your bags and heading back to Dar es Salaam and Mediterraneo Hotel.

DAY 11 AND 12

Rest at Mediterraneo. Spend the day by the pool.

DAY 13

Pick up at the hotel at 07:30 and transport to airport for flight to Mafia Island at 10:45. Arrive in Mafia at 11:15 and the driver will be ready to take you to Butiama Beach.

DAY 14 AND 16

It is the ocean here that is the great attraction. In 1995, the Mafia Island Marine Park was formed to protect the archipelago’s reefs. Within Chole Bay, the shallow reefs are perfect for snorkelling or learning to dive. Outside the bay, its entrance is guarded by a long coral wall, attracting more experienced divers. Here are more than 50 kinds of coral, including giant table corals, huge stands of blue-tipped staghorn corals, and more than 400 species of fish.
Chole Mjini is a great place to experience village life, and also offers great diving, snorkelling and complementary dhow trips to sand bars. The whale shark encounters they offer are the most interesting and responsible on Mafia – a highly rewarding and memorable experience.

DAY 17

After breakfast you back and go to airport for flight to Zanzibar at 12:45. Arrive Zanzibar at 14:20 and the driver there will take you to the north west coast of the island at Z-Hotel.

DAY 18-20

The beaches are often stunning, with powdery white sand, shaded by palm trees. The sea is shallow, but venture further out into the sparkling, turquoise water and you’ll find coral reefs for great snorkelling and diving. The larger islands are lush and highly fertile and everywhere the air is suffused with the aroma of fruit and spices: it’s an intoxicating, exotic atmosphere.

DAY 21

Pick up and transport to town. Spend the day in town and you get to the airport and flight back to Dar in the late afternoon. Transport to Mediterraneo Hotel.
